Civility still exists in the world!

That's right, the people were kind to me today during the tour. I was a little nervous, I admit, and I felt that I kind of rambled a bit. But, the house docent went along for the van ride to the Zimmerman house and told everyone on the way back that it was my first tour.

They all said that I did a fine job and gave me a round of applause, Later, at a meeting at the museum, several people told me that they heard that I did fine. See what pity will do!

Tonight was the next-to-last choir rehearsal for the season so we stopped at Margerita's for a drink afterwards and we'll conclude the choir season with another round next Thursday night. Summer is just about here and it should be a time for rest and relaxation but my project list never seems to diminish so I know that I'll continue to be on the go most of the time.

It's still hard to imagine all that's happened over the past year-and-a-half. It seems like kind of a dream - and not really a bad one because I have never really suffered at all. My new life is progressing well and it feels great to be able to get out and do things once again.

I'll never take the routine of everyday life for granted...
