Trying to compare myself!

We were watching the movie "The Diary of Anne Frank" tonight. Everyday she made an entry into her diary detailing her innermost thoughts and feelings. This she did for about two years before she and her family were finally caught by the Germans. Yes, I can say that we were both were in life threatening situations - obviously for different reasons. But, she kept upbeat and positive and basically wrote as she felt moved to do. She also felt somewhat compelled to write because she needed the outlet. She also felt that, though she decided she wanted to be a write, she was a failure because no one would ever get a chance to see how well she wrote.

In many ways, I still feel compeeled to write because it does serve as a catharsis for me. I'm now feeling fine; but I know that there are others who read this blog who are still dealing with leukemia related issues and I just want them to know that they should keep themselves in good spirits and trust in God. Anne Frank's message went out to millions. I do not have near that large an audience but it does not diminish what I have to say.

All of us who have gone through or are going through this battle need all the support that they can get.

I hope that I have helped them in some small way...

Bob
