Definite progress!

In order to walk to the ball field where my grandson has his baseball camp, you have to walk up a three tiered set of steps - probably about 30 stairs. No big deal for most of us, but it was a big deal for me back in September and October because I would be gasping for air when I finally arrived at the top. No longer! Both yesterday and today, I walked up the stairs without any problems. This is probably the biggest test that I have had so far and I passsed with flying colors. My treatment appears to be working just fine. Thank God I have not undergone all of this for nothing!

As I mentioned before, today is my grandson's 13th birthday. So... After camp we went miaiture golfing and he went riding on the bumper boats. He had a great time. Then we went to dinner at a restaurant and sat in a secluded spot. Sounds so romantic doesn't it!

We went walking around the neighborhood with our grandson and spoke to several of our neighbors who hadn't seen me in quite a while. General concensus - I'm looking very good. But, then again, they're not doctors. However, I do admit that it's nice to hear people say such things.

Then again, I think that they were all wearing dark tinted sunglasses...
