Sooooo yesterday!

That's what I heard on the news yesterday. Blogging is just fading out like the snow melts in the spring. FACEBOOK is the current in thing because you don't have to do all that writing and you can quicjkly access lots of people with that format. No need to enter individual web sites - too time consuming.

Well, I think that that shoe fits perfectly for me as I kind of pride myself on being "so yesterday" because there was (and is) nothing wrong with a time where there was plenty of work, our educational system was top notch, you could understand (and sing) the popular songs, comedy movies were actually funny without relying on four letter words, etc.

Life has changed a lot. Admittedly some of the changes have been good. I enjoy my big screen TV, cars are better, the internet is great, cell phones are wonderful, etc. But, our core values (the foundation of our culture) have eroded so much that while all the trimmings seem to be improving, the main tree trunk is beginning to rot away.

That's my take anyway.

I'm still busy helping my neighbors - I repaired a lamp shade yesterday and have been stripping the old moldy caulk from a shower stall in order to recaulk it. This I'll do tomorrow.

My walking continues apace(what a terrible pun) and my wife has me doing some stretching exercises in order for me to maintain some semblance of flexibility. The bone marrow transplant has hardened my muscles and skin somewhat so that I am not as flexible as I used to be. Is it working? Well, it's only been a few days so it's still to early to tell.

Other than that, life goes on as it has....
