An early spring in the works!
If we can trust those pesky groundhogs that is. If what we have for snow on the ground melts quickly, it will make Noah's flood look like a puddle. After the snow for the past two days, our patio furniture is now completely covered by snow and the piles in the front yard are now up to the roof! But the good news that there is more on the way on Saturday. However, it's too soon for them to accurately forecast how much other than to say that there will be a few inches at least.
We hunkered down and I continued to work toward getting ready to install our tile backsplash on Saturday. The next two days will see some more tasks getting done in preparation for Saturday as well.
With my doctor's appointment postponed until nex tWednesday we can only hope that more snow does not interfere with it. However, Monday is scheduled for a snow disturbance as well with Wednesday being a little too far in the distance to provide any reasonable forecast.
Otherwise, I continue to pump stuff into my eyes as recommended by the doctors. The good news is that they don't get any worse and maybe thay are marginally better. I foresee a long process here before the desirable outcome emerges. For me the desirable outcome is simply to have my cornea heal properly in order to eliminate the double vision in the right eye. The likelihood of ever producing tears and doing away with the eye drops is pretty slim a this point.
Lastly, I'm so glad that we live in a condo. With all of this snow, I haven't had to clear one flake..
Now, let's hope that the groundhogs are right...
Bob
