Postponed!

Our outside dinner engagement with friends was postponed as the weather was not so hot up north. It was OK though as I continued ripping out my wall today and went to the dump to dispose of the remains.

Tomorrow it's round 2 with my grandson at the ballpark as we head into his 14th birthday on Thursday. The weather promises to be hot once again. Thursday, when I do my next Zimmerman House tour, promises to be in the nineties as well. What a summer!

A little sidelight to the tour on Thursday. There are always 2 docents as the tour group has to split up to accommodate the smaller rooms in the house. Someone signed up to do the tour with me and I had no idea who she was! On Sunday night, when we went to the movies, this woman at the ticket counter introduced herself to me and told me that she was the docent who would be sharing the duties with me on Thursday. God works in strange ways!

Now that I'm back doing work, I find that I'm not so stiff and sore as when I was semi-relaxing. I guess that vigorous activity is what's required to keep the body going.

I'm feeling fine and trying to keep as busy as I can.

I'll grow old if I don't...
