I'm getting old!

Yesterday we signed up for all of our Medicare health insurance. Since we have no idea how long my current situation will continue with my long term disability and its health insurance. Boy, it makes you feel as though you are on the last page of your life when reach this stage. However, the good thing is that it's a lot less expensive than anything that you could get if you were much younger. Being a "senior" citizen does have its advantages.

What else has happened. Not much. My son and his daughters were over for dinner. Another advantage at my age - grandchildren!

Life continues on and I continue to work on my project here with today's activity being the painting of the ceiling in the room. However, I must admit that progress proceeds at a slower pace. One reason is that I can afford to do it this way. But the real reason is that I can't attain the same pace that I did in my younger days. A disadvantage of being long in the tooth as they say.

For all of you suffering from triscadecaphobia tomorrow is the dreaded Friday the 13th. Personally. I don't expect any problems - but we'll wait and see!

Less than two weeks until my next doctor's visit.

It will be interesting to see where I stand...

Bob
