A fun day!

We(my wife, my graqndson, and myself) went to the Mystic Seaport. It is a lengthy 2 and a half hour ride. But the weather held up for most of the day. Rain set in around 4:00 but we saw almost everything at that point.

My grandson seemed to enjoy the day. It certainly was a definite upgrade from his other alternative - spending the day at home, alone. We had a good time as well. We hadn't been there in many years and they have expanded the facility so much that it took the entire day to see it which I did not expect to happen.

We had bo time for the aquarium. But, it turns out that(unbeknownst to us) our grandson does not really like aquariums. Serendipity strikes again!

I don't know if we are starting to visit these places because I may never get another chance to see them or not. But, as I said yesterday, we really wish to take advantage of the limited good opportunities that the summer weather affords us.

The next two days take me back to class.
