Maybe this leads to bigger things!

I was watching the movie Julie and Julia today and saw that Julie was writing a blog describing her yearlong adventures cooking Julia Child recipes. The blog gathered a large following which led to a book and, ultimately, to the movie. Hope springs eternal here. Perhaps Tom Cruise could play me or maybe Randy Quaid! Chris Farley would have been perfect!

Anyway, there's not much chance that any of that will occur and that's not why I'm doing this. My walk has been a good one but for many others that has not been the case. If I can just make people aware that there are so many leukemia and other blood cancer patients out there who need support and need people to step up and get on the bone marrow donor list to give them a chance then I will have done my job.

It's a lot better today than yesterday but it can be a lot better tomorrow than today...
