Clean at last!
My teeth that is. After 14 months, I was able to go to the dentist and get my teeth cleaned. They certainly feel a lot better. But not being able to go to the dentist for over a year and not being able to brush my teeth for a long time has been costly both in terms of the work that needs to be done to restore my mouth to its original luster(!) and the amount of money that it will take to accomplish it - even with dental insurance! I need two crowns and I have 6 cavities of one kind or another. But, hey, it's only money and I admit that my mouth finally feels like my mouth should feel.
It's certainly a big step forward for me. I do appreciate that the dentist was somewhat understanding as to why my mouth needs so much work. It would never have gone this far if I could have made the visits that I needed to make and if I had been able to perform some sort of dental hygiene along the way.
My daughter and her husband returned from Mexico this evening suffering from some sort of bug - so we dropped her two children off and quickly made our exit for home. There is no need for either of us to come down with any kind of virus.
As for the repercussions from yesterday's bowling fiasco - neither of us is undergoing any kind of aches and/or pains. So, I guess that that is a good sign. Now if we could only get back to the form that we used to have, then our psyche's wouldn't be suffering either.
Tomorrow is training lesson three for my Currier docent course. Every day there now seems to be something going on so I guess I'm getting back to the "old me" - emphasis on the old.
Can't think of much else at the moment...
