February 2, 2010 11:30 PM 19 days to go

Six more weeks of winter! Ugh!!!!!

At least that's what the groundhog said. But no real complaints from here so far because although it's been somewhat cold at times - there has not really been a lot of snow. And now that February is here, spring is just around the corner.

Today was a day to get back towork on doing things for my bathroom and then going to see my grandson wrestle. He won by a decision. Otherwise a quiet day with tomorrow expected to be the same. Just planning on doing some work around the house.

But, with all the good news, I still have a long way to go and I still need your thoughts and prayers. This past year was dedicated to surviving the bone marrow marrow transplant while this coming year will go a long way toward determining if I will survive the disease. This is the point in time when they start to look for any signs of a relapse. So far - so good!

Meanwhile, I just relish each day that I have and enjoy such activities as watching my grandson. Those are the important things in life. He looks forward to our support(and, as often as they can, his other grandparents are there as well) and we all enjoy being together whether or not he wins or loses.

I also made my dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned. I'm looking forward to having a clean mouth once again. It's been over a year. But, of course, the doctors wanted me to have nothing to do with dentists even though good dental hygeine was very important on my road to recovery. Low blood counts will do that for you.

That's about it for today...

Bob
