It's finally over!

yes, january is finally over and we can all kind of begin to set our sights on spring. Tuesday is Groundhog Day which should really give us the insight that we need to properly know when winter will be over!

It was a nice day. Our friends came over and we played bridge - really clobbering them! A couple of slams and some real big defensive penalties did the trick. Then we went out to dinner with some other friends of ours to a newly opened Chinese restaurant and the food was so-so at best - but the company was good.

A good day for me as we now enter the month of the first anniversary of my bone marrow transplant. It feels really good to think that the year is almost up. Very grinding and very frustrating as I have felt so well, and yet, have been restricted in what I can do. Obviously, I can't complain about the results.

Did I need to be so careful? We'll never know...
