A few items!
None of them are health related. It's all about my computer that I have resurrected from the dead. It's now working like I thought it should work. I guess my hard drive was going on the fritz for quite a while. My machine would run dog slow at times and I could never figure out why. Now I guess I know why.
I know that a new machine with the upcoming Windows 7.0 and all that fancy new hardware would be nice. But it's overkill for what I need. Plus they say that a lot of your current software may not run on the new operating system. Replacing all that software is not something that I would relish doing. It's an additional expense for no benefit. I guess that having worked with computers all my professional life has paid off in some small way.
Great news! The wonderful woman from Norway who donated her bone marrow this past February has made reservations to be here in the states this upcoming February. She made her wonderful donation on the exact day that I went into the hospital to prepare for my transplant. So this February will be a big anniversary for both of us. We are going to celebrate together!
I can hardly wait...
Bob
