Back to reality!

Yes, tomorrow I commence with the kitchen painting project once more. Not much more to do. We have also tried to see what it would take to just get the cabinet doors replaced with something a little more to our liking. But our initial efforts have been rebuffed as the cabinet company does not wish to make that many doors. I don't know why, they do door replacement. So we'll probably wait until later to see how we'll perform our cabinet upgrade.

We spent the day at my brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's house and went out to dinner to celebrate his birthday which was a few days ago(we, of course, were in Maine at that time). So it was a good day.

I don't go back to the doctor's for another couple of weeks as October 7th was the earliest date that we could get that would give us our early morning appointment. I really don't think that there is much to worry about even though there will be a 6 week span from my last appointment. I feel great and people still tell me that I look better now than I have in a long time. Maybe it's simply the buzz cut hair! I suppose that I could have saved myself a lot of trouble and just cut my hair and been done with it! Personally, I still haven't got used to the look even though others have been complementary and said that it looks great. It certainly is easy to maintain, however, and that's a big plus.

My passport is running out in December so I think that I'll go tomorrow after painting and get it renewed. Without a doubt the photo will look different. Will I still look like this is 10 years? Who knows! Will I still be around in 10 years? Who knows! Does it make any difference?

I'm not sure if fall started today - but someone said that they thought it did. In any case, that's a bummer - summer's over and winter is next!

So, just another day on the road to recovery. But what a well paved and smooth road it is. If you have to go this way, you might as well go first class...
