Well, the rain made a hasty return. Another cold, raw, rainy summer(!) day.

We didn't do much though we went to friends to have dinner. They wanted to serve their beer barbecued chicken and it was delicious. A pleasant evening of conversation and good food. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things here. These things are the little gems in life. We have to remember that it's people who are important - not things.

Today was the day that my on-line prescription provider was supposed to ship my medication. As expected, it didn't happen! They have sent it on to another provider who now is supposed to fill it. Meanwhile, my current prescription is running out. As expected, this whole process is beginning to get a bit dicey. You leave what you think is enough time to get your refill and they delay so much that it's not enough. So, tomorrow I have to call the other provider to see what the status of my order is. Is this preparing us for the joys of national health care?

Other than being concerned about running out of one of my immuno-suppressants, I'm still feeling great!
