It was a beautiful day - weatherwise!

I really wish that I could drink, however, as my prescription provider is driving me nuts. My prescription is now "in process". But nobody knows what that means! They still supposedly have to check with my insurance provider to make sure that the drug is covered. Mind you, they have already filled 2 prior prescriptions for the exact same drug. Go figure! At least several of the people that I have talked to have finally accepted the fact that I am not on Medicare!

When I asked them how I was supposed to know what they resolved with my insurance company they had no answer. When, or if, this prescription will ever be filled is anybody's guess. But I am supposed to call them on Monday to get an update! So, currently I have this three month drug prescription that cannot be filled at my local pharmacy because it is for 3 months and my 3 month provider won't fill it!

Since I had a prior prescription for a lesser amount filled at my local pharmacy, I think that I will try to get it refilled there.

This is horrible! Someone's bureaucratic screw up prevents me from getting the drugs that I absolutely need. You would never think that getting the medication that you need would be such an issue. I guess that not having had to take any medications prior to this has left me totally ignorant of what a number of you people have to go through all the time . For me, this is coming to a defineable end. For you, you have my deepest sympathies.

Other than being on the phone to try to iron out my medication issue, we went to the Manchester Country Club for dinner tonight with some friends and had a great time eating outside on the patio. It makes one really appreciate the summer weather at times like this because we have had so little of it.

As usual, I'm still feeling fine...
